Melkem Timket! My second Ethiopian Orthodox Epiphany in Gondar, and third in Ethiopia. Gondar is the center of the celebration across the country, with an over-night vigil and early morning ceremony at the beautiful Fasiladas pools. Beautiful in the candle light held by the people all shrouded in white. An incredible holiday!
The highlight was sunset the last night. A troop of gelada baboons came across the field in front of us to find shelter in cliffs.
